***Welcome Digg.com and thank you for your doantions!***
I have made a decision to walk for the march of dimes. It's called "March of Dimes- Walk for babies" This organization helps babies with many problems.
To be honest before my son was born I would not even pay attention to these causes. I guess you could say I was selfish...Hey to each their own. I must say that having a child has changed my attitude about life, love, money and life in general. Most of the things I do are not for my benefit but for my son's benefit. Being that my son never used these services I think it would be good for me and him to contribute to other babies that have problems because who knows, maybe we're saving my son's future wife's life? Hey you never know!!!
All I know is that had my son been born with problems(and he was, he was in the hospital for 10 days lung infection) I would of relied on the march of dimes for help. So now as a responsible father that I am, I will sign me and my son up as a team and we are BOTH going to walk April 26 for the March of Dimes here in San Diego California. As soon as I get info on how to add my team of two I will post a link so that anyone can sponsor me and my son. (the links on this post now reflect my team---please donate!)

You have my donation :)
And I want to see pictures too...lots of them :) LOL
Good for you! I was the same way, nver really paid attention to charities and oranizations of this type. Then I got pregnant and my son was born over 8 weeks early and spent 3 weeks in the NICU. We are so fortunate that he was relatively healthy considering.
Anyhow, kudos to you and good luck on your fundraising efforts!
